URMUR and URMULE studies
A minor use of a pesticide is defined as the desired use of a pesticide for which the anticipated
sales of the product are so low that the manufacturer will not register the product in Canada.
The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), of Health Canada, is the agency in
charge of pesticide registration. They have put together requirements for submission of data for
registering minor use products from user groups (a person or group needing and planning to use
a minor use product).
Atlantic AgriTech Inc. also conducts studies to support the URMUR (User Requested Minor Use
Registration) or URMULE (User Requested Minor Use Label Expansion) Program requirements.
For companies that do not have a raw data field notebook for collecting and documenting data
required for URMUR or URMULE studies, Atlantic AgriTech Inc. has the capability to construct a
complete and compliant field notebook. |
