Lab and Office Equipment

At both field research locations, our office and lab facilities are completely equipped for the efficient and safe conduct of the range of agricultural studies requested by our clients.  Laboratory equipment available at our facilities include various sizes of balances, NIST traceable weights, NBS certified thermometer, portable weather monitoring devices, and safety equipment.

		Our laboratory also contains the required instruments for conduction of GLP compliant studies, including temperature monitored test substance storage and freezers for sample storage; balances and record keeping systems. Maintenance/usage logs and calibration logs are kept for all equipment used in GLP studies. Studies may be conducted following Atlantic AgriTech Inc. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), or those provided by the client.

 

Software is updated regularly, and we routinely use MS Office packages, as appropriate, to ensure compatibility with clients. We use Agricultural Research Manager (ARM 8.2) to manage our efficacy trials.

Other computerized systems include Campbell Scientific and Davis WeatherLink systems for weather data aquisition and data handling, Boxcar for managing dataloggers and MapInfo and Farmworks software for handling plot layouts. Sensaphone system is used for Freezers and Test Substance Storage temperature monitoring. Alarms are programmed to call management in case the temperature reach the set points.

All data is backed up and stored in fireproof cabinets.
